From the Desk of Our Executive Director
Welcome back to another edition of the Stewardship Journal. We are grateful for your continued support. Here is a preview of this week’s Stewardship Journal.
Do you know how your members give? That is the question our lead post, The Multiple Platforms of Giving, asks. The article is a summation of a recent Barna study on Americans’ views on giving and how they actually give. I think you will find the report enlightening, and it might change how you approach offering planning.
Mark Brooks, The Stewardship Coach, continues his writing on end-of-year planning with his column, Multi-Channel Giving is the New Normal. Mark’s post re-enforces our lead post, helping you not only focus on the message of your end-of-year appeal but also the method by which people can give to support that message.
This week’s Bonus Section, entitled End-of-Year Overview, gives an overview of an end-of-year timeline. You will get direction from the beginning of November through December 31st on the best way to position your end-of-year appeal.
Do You Have Your Candy Ready? is this week’s Mission and Ministry offering moment. As we approach Halloween, this talk is a great way to highlight the eternal value of giving through your church.
Our prayer with this edition of the Stewardship Journal is to help you build a platform for stewardship that will assure your church is financially stable, not only for the end of the year but to set a strong start to 2023. Your Kingdom’s work deserves to be fully funded so that you can keep,
Advancing the Gospel!
