We Thank God for You

The Apostle Paul wrote a letter to the church at Philippi. I want to read his greeting to that church. He writes in Philippians 1:3-6 “I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

As we approach the Thanksgiving season, I can think of no better verses to sum up my feelings for the partnership you invest in this church. In this past year, we were able, by your generosity in giving and serving, to accomplish the following:

• List some missions accomplishments of the past year
• List some ministries that reached children and youth
• List some outreach to the poor and needy that was accomplished through your church

None of this would have been possible without your generosity. So today, we, the staff, wanted to stop everything as we come to this season of Thanksgiving and say thank you to you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Together all our gifts and service are making a difference! Let’s continue our work for the Lord “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in your will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
