We’re back! I pray you had a wonderful 4^th of July. We took the week off, but we are back with another exciting issue of the Stewardship Journal. In this edition, we are focusing on budget planning. For many of our churches, now is the time they begin budget planning for the new year. Our lead post starts our discussion with a post entitled Three Leadership Landmines That Can Derail Your Budget. We will identify those for you so that you can avoid stepping on them.

Mark Brooks, The Stewardship Coach, carries forward our theme of budget planning with his column The Coach’s 2023 Budget Training Camp. Mark shares why budget planning is important to your members and why it should be important to you. It’s a great post with practical advice on how best to plan for your next budget.

Mark’s Bonus Section continues on our topic of budget planning with a post entitled Six Key Points on Vision Crafting Your Church Budget. The post contains good advice on how to make your budget engaging and exciting for your members. These six points will help you better hit the budget you set.
