Welcome to the last 2022 edition of the Stewardship Journal. On behalf of our team, thank you for supporting the Stewardship Journal. Our prayer has been that this weekly journal has helped you build an effective stewardship platform that will help fund the Kingdom work God has called your church to.

Here is a preview of this week’s Stewardship Journal.

Our lead post is entitled Maximize Gifts and Reduce Rates with ACH. You are probably like me and wondering what ACH is and how that can maximize gifts. This post is for you! For the last few weeks, we have been stressing end-of-year giving plans and encouraging you to begin thinking about the New Year. One strategy is to use January to push for automated giving. This post shares how to get the best rates on automated giving, thus saving you money. This practical post will help increase giving while saving you money.

Turning Failure into Triumph is Mark Brooks’, The Stewardship Coach, article this week. Mark shares openly about a failure in his life that led to God unexpectedly using him. I love this question Mark asks, “what failures in your life is God using to bring triumph to you?” I think you will find this an encouraging article. We are blessed to be part of the triumph God has brought about. What triumph are you waiting upon the Lord for? Mark’s post will bring you encouragement to stay faithful.

Did you know that January is the second worst month of the year for most churches? Only July is worse. In this week’s Bonus Section, Mark shares an overview of how to ensure that you get off to a great start to your giving year with a section entitled Six Weeks to Giving Success Overview. Mark shares key thoughts and steps for the first six weeks of the New Year.

Since this is our last Journal of the year, we are providing you with three Mission and Ministry moments. The first is for Christmas Sunday, December 25^th and is entitled Peace on Earth, Good Will to Men. The second talk, for New Year’s Day, January 1^st, plays off of the New Year and is entitled Start the New Year Right. The final talk, for January 8^th, is entitled How Do You Honor the Lord? Take the time to set your offerings up with these brief talks and it will help educate and motivate your members to give.
